We’re having a wedding as silly & fun as we are.

New Orleans holds a special place in our hearts. We went to our first concert together at Mardi Gras World. We often treat each other to delicious meals at restaurants like Deanie’s in the French Quarter and go shopping at stores like Peaches on Magazine Street. Heck, we got engaged on the canal walk outside of the Audubon Aquarium. There was never a question in our minds; New Orleans was where we needed to get married.

We also never wanted a traditional wedding. Yes, we want a ceremony surrounded by our friends and family. But more than a wedding, we wanted a party. We wanted a space to celebrate our union without having to adhere to traditional wedding expectations.

So, we’re bringing a jazzy New Orleans twist to our wedding experience. More cocktails, more live music, more letting loose (and less “white-man overbite” dancing). It’s going to be a blast, and we’re so excited to see you there!

Where to go for…

Parking

We recommend parking in Premium Parking P0149 (535 Chartres St). This will perfectly place you near both the ceremony and dinner locations.

The Ceremony

We will be holding the ceremony in the courtyard of the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum (514 Chartres St).

The Dinner

After second-lining through the streets of the French Quarter, we will have drinks and a three-course meal at Omni Royal Orleans (621 St Louis St).

The Afterparty

What kind of party would this be if it ended after dinner?! Join us for absinthe at Pirate’s Alley Cafe (622 Pirates Alley), and come with us as we bar hop through the French Quarter.

But what will you wear?

Our wedding date is also the first day of Spring!

We are looking forward to a bright, colorful, and floral occasion! We will certainly be wearing flowers, and we would love to see you in bright, floral attire as well.

Also, note that we will be walking with the second line band. Those extra high heels might not be the best choice for the evening.

But, hey! Sometimes a little pain is worth the look, so it’s totally up to you.

Two smiling people, a woman and a man, wearing black and yellow striped caps with a WH logo, are saluting. The woman has reddish-brown hair and is wearing a patterned shirt with smiley faces and yin-yang symbols, while the man has dark hair and a beard, wearing a graphic T-shirt and an open green shirt. They are inside a restaurant with house rules and guidelines posted behind them.

Aw! You shouldn’t have.

As we plan our life together, we’ve built a list of items to make our home complete. Let’s be honest, most of the items on our list are for our kitchen. After all, food is our love language!

The party doesn’t have to end when the night does.
